EPISODE 1"Certifiably Insane Person" - Brandon
18 players were dropped off in Guatemala to vie for the title of Sole Survivor. In a shocking twist, they were divided into three tribes. In Nakúm: Blake, Brianna, Cindy, Gary, Margaret and Rafe. In Naranjo: Brandon, Brooke, Danni, Jamie, Jim, and Lydia. In Yaxhá: Amy, Bobby Jon, Brian, Judd, Morgan and Stephenie. In addition to the three tribes twist, the castaways learned there would be a Hidden Immunity Idol up for grabs at each of their respective camps. At Nakúm, the tribe immediately combusted into a spree for alliances. Blake approached Rafe for one right off the bat, which made Rafe weary. The tribe was quick to get their camp together, but Brianna was noticeably slacking. Over at Naranjo, Jim followed a similar instinct when he instantly asked Jamie, Brandon, and Danni to join up in an alliance of four to maintain a majority. However, while they nodded along, they each felt Jim was a loose cannon and did not wish to move forward with him. At the Yaxhá tribe, alliance making was still the main concern, with tribes so small. Amy and Morgan immediately hit it off and agreed to work together. They agreed that Brian and Bobby Jon seemed like ideal alliance mates. Morgan took an instant dislike of Stephenie, and wished to target her first. Back at the Nakúm camp, Blake and Rafe were each on a hunt for the Hidden Immunity Idol. In the end, Blake stumbled upon it first. Using the idol to strengthen an alliance possibility, he shared the news with Cindy. Rafe believed that the idol has already been found, and that Blake and Cindy were the prime candidates of having it. Margaret and Gary agreed to work with one another for being the elders in the tribe. Rafe revealed his beliefs regarding the idol to the two of them, and they agreed to be a threesome. Back at Naranjo, Jamie and Lydia agreed they liked eachother best, and he filled her in on Jim's spontaneous alliance proposal. They figured Brandon would be the best person to pull into an alliance. They both liked Brooke but were not sure of her strength, and they both found Danni to be a shady character. Brandon found the Hidden Immunity Idol and chose to keep it a secret. Back to Yaxhá, Judd talked to Amy about working with one another. Morgan felt she and Amy could control the tribe with ease. Brian found the Hidden Immunity and chose not to share the news with anyone. At the first immunity challenge of the season, it was a very close race until Stephenie struggled in the maze portion of the challenge. It resulted in Naranjo and Nakúm taking first and second in the immunity challenge, and sending Yaxhá to the first Tribal Council of the season. Returning to camp, Morgan and Amy felt the decision was a no brainer. Morgan was pleased that Stephenie put a target on her back by failing for the tribe. However, Amy had reservations about Judd and if he would be someone who could be a detriment to her game. Bobby Jon was rather distant about the vote, and Judd was somewhat nervous. At Tribal Council, Stephenie got upset when Judd insulted her performance. When the vote was revealed, the tribe voted Stephenie out in a 4-1-1 decision.
EPISODE 2"Eating Out Of My Hand" - Morgan
Returning from Tribal Council, Amy was irritated that Bobby Jon's vote was not in the majority and Brian felt like he should be the next to go. However, Morgan believed she was running the show, and pegged Judd as the next person she wanted to see voted out of the tribe. The next day at Nakúm, Rafe and Gary wanted to figure out if Blake had the Hidden Immunity Idol. When Rafe approached him, Blake denied. The two of them wished to make Blake believe they were in his corner. Blake on the other hand, wished to get an alliance going with Cindy and possibly Brianna, unbeknownst to him that the other three in his tribe (Gary, Margaret, and Rafe) were already aligned. Over at Naranjo, Jamie, Lydia, and Brandon were a solidified threesome. The tribe was still in unanimous agreement that they would send Jim packing if they lost a challenge, and Brooke was relieved to have him as a safety cushion. But Jamie started having doubts and started thinking about the possibility of eliminating Danni. Over at Yaxhá, Judd believed the Hidden Immunity Idol was found, and that Brian was acting suspicious. He shared this information with Amy and the two determined he probably had the idol. The two thought that maybe they should join up with Bobby Jon to flush Brian's potential idol. Amy started to think about the possibility of turning on Morgan. Amy and Judd approached Bobby Jon and they agreed they would vote together. At the second immunity challenge of the season, Nakúm dominated and secured first place. In a rather close call for second, Naranjo beat out Yaxhá, sending them to Tribal Council for the second straight time. Back at Yaxhá, Morgan's performance in the challenge put her in the hot seat. Amy was nervous about Brian playing an idol, and Judd told her he would rather vote out Morgan, but would not be opposed to Bobby Jon. Morgan sensed something awry and started to scramble to Amy, her alliance from the first round. Amy shared her beliefs of Brian having the idol with Morgan, and started to pitch the idea of voting out Bobby Jon. Amy decided to reveal all to Morgan, about how Judd was wanting to vote out Brian or Morgan, and how Bobby Jon approached Judd and her to work together. Morgan confronted Brian on having the idol and pressured him into revealing it. She informed him that Judd was tossing their names around, in addition to Bobby Jon's, and that they should blindside him. Bobby Jon was then informed of Judd's words and felt betrayed. He was then on board to vote him out. Brian was suddenly in a swing vote position to eliminate either Judd or Bobby Jon, the ladder of which he did not have as strong a relationship with. But with all the new-found information, he had little time to decide. At Tribal Council, Morgan's plan came to fruition, and Judd was blindsided in a 3-2 vote.
EPISODE 3"Idol Crisis" - Blake
Coming back from Tribal Council, Amy was thrown for a loop with Judd's elimination. Amy and Morgan went to talk, resulting in Amy being content with the decision. Her only concern was Bobby Jon holding a grudge against her, but hoped her alliance with Morgan would prove beneficial. Morgan on the other hand, didn't care about Amy's safety and pegged her as potentially the next to go. At the Naranjo camp, Jamie and Brooke began to grow closer. Jamie was concerned about Lydia's constant paranoia over being backstabbed. Brandon shared the same concerns regarding Lydia. He liked her on a personal level, but he felt she was too insecure. After Jamie filled Danni in that he thinks the idol was found, she believed that Jim or Lydia had the idol. Brandon acted clueless as to who could possibly have the idol. At Nakúm, the alliance of Rafe, Gary, and Margaret was still hidden from the rest of the tribe. Brianna, the most lazy member of the tribe, was pegged the next to go. Blake, however, wanted to keep Brianna around and target Gary or Margaret. He believed he could get Rafe to do it. After being questioned regarding the idol by Rafe and Gary, Blake asked Cindy to pretend she had it so that he could get in better with the other men. Cindy did not feel it was best, and for that Blake felt it was a cowardly decision. The mood at Yaxhá was a desperate one. They knew they couldn't afford to lose a third immunity in a row. Brian was starting to get nervous about the Naranjo tribe dominating the game. At the next immunity challenge, the three tribes played Jeopardy! Thanks to both Jamie and Danni, Naranjo dominated and won. Coming in second, Yaxhá pulled out a much needed win. This meant Nakúm faced Tribal Council for the first time. Back at camp, it was instantaneous that the tribe vote off Brianna, for being lazy and not helping in the challenges. Margaret felt it should be a no brainer, and wanted to keep the tribe strong. The possibility of blindsiding Blake and breaking up him and Cindy occurred to Gary. Blake also was tempted to use Brianna to take out a bigger threat. At Tribal Council, both alliance's plans were put on hold when they came together to vote out Brianna in a 5-1 decision.
EPISODE 4"Fighting The Terminator" - Brian
Returning to camp, the Nakúm tribe had no regrets sending Brianna home. Margaret felt that with the current five, they would be unbeatable moving forward. Blake, on the other hand, was somewhat upset at losing Brianna since he wanted to form an alliance with her and Cindy to run the tribe. Gary was confident in his alliance to Margaret and Rafe to take out Blake or Cindy and their idol next. The next day at Yaxhá, Brian felt the next challenge was a pivotal one. The tribe was down to just four members, and his paranoia over Naranjo's dominance was increasing. He believed they needed to rope in Amy in the event the tribes swapped. Over at Naranjo, Brandon was bored of winning. He believed their constant dominance in the challenges could be the tribe's downfall, as the two other tribes would be looking to exterminate them. Brooke and Jim both shared the same concerns. Danni was growing more and more tired of Jim by the day. Over at Nakúm, Blake decided to reveal he had the idol to Gary, in hopes of making a strong foursome with Cindy and Rafe. Gary felt that Blake's game was poor. At the immunity challenge, the tribes had to catch as many flying balls as they could, each ball containing a point value. Gary was on fire and dominated the challenge, ensuring Nakúm immunity. Despite a bad start, Naranjo picked it up leaving Yaxhá in the dust. Yaxhá lost their third immunity and faced another Tribal Council, where they would go from four members to three. In frustration, Bobby Jon whispered to Lydia that he was next and to watch out for Brian's idol. Back at camp, Amy was devastated. The mood was very somber and Brian was upset with the challenge and had a defeated attitude. Bobby Jon recognized his fellow tribemate's reactions to losing and knew they only had themselves to blame for poor strategy during it. Morgan once again was the weak link in the challenge, and Amy felt the tribe needed to be as strong as possible if they could survive. Brian knew that Morgan wasn't the best asset to the tribe when it came to strength, but was concerned Amy would flip in a tribe swap situation. Morgan pretended that she had lost the will to fight to make Amy comfortable. After talking to Bobby Jon, Amy believed the tribe would come together to boot Morgan. Bobby Jon was torn about the vote because he knew Amy had so much fight to be here and that Morgan was a detriment to the tribe. On the flip side, Morgan saved him at their last Tribal Council. At Tribal Council, Bobby Jon decided to play it safe, and he, Brian, and Morgan stuck together and Amy was blindsided in a 3-1 vote.
EPISODE 5"This Is A Mob Style Move" - Blake
The Yaxhá tribe came back from Tribal Council with just three. Bobby Jon wasn't sure he made the right call in keeping Morgan over Amy. The tribe knew they needed a change, or they would face extermination. The tribes gathered for the next Immunity Challenge. Gary made a comment that he hoped Naranjo would lose some members soon. Jeff pulled out a bottle that would be read after the challenge. The players competed in an endurance competition with Jamie dominating and securing individual immunity, along with Brian. Jeff shocked everyone when he revealed that the challenge was to dissolve a tribe, and because Nakúm performed the worst, the tribe would be no more. Jamie chose Gary to join the Naranjo tribe, which meant Blake, Cindy, Margaret, and Rafe would join Bobby Jon, Brian, and Morgan on Yaxhá. Jeff then revealed it was a double Tribal Council. Back at the Yaxhá camp, the three original members knew they were outnumbered four to three. Margaret met with the former Nakúm and came up with a ruse to pretend like she was an outsider and would be willing to vote off Cindy, to prevent Brian's idol from being used on one of Morgan or Bobby Jon. They all agreed that they would vote off Morgan to keep strength, and because both Rafe and Cindy did not like her. Rafe felt he could work with Bobby Jon but Morgan's personality was too much. After speaking to Margaret, Morgan was convinced that she was on board to vote for Cindy. Brian on the other hand believed Margaret could not be trusted. He was not willing to give his idol up to his number one ally Morgan, and insisted they vote Margaret off. Morgan was upset but felt she had no choice but to follow Brian's decision. Blake schemed to betray Nakúm and get out someone he has wanted out for awhile in Margaret. He planned to throw a vote at his closest ally Cindy and pin it on Margaret. Then in the re-vote, he planned to vote her out on the account she could not be trusted. Over at Naranjo, Gary was in the obvious hot seat. After just calling out the fact Naranjo needed to lose members, he became a sitting duck to be voted out by them. Jamie selected Gary for his physical strength and the tempting possibility of eliminating a threat. Brandon took note of how powerful Jamie had become. He concluded that Jamie had to go at the merge. Jamie, Lydia, Brandon, Danni, and Brooke were worried about Gary playing Nakúm's Hidden Immunity Idol. They decided to split the vote between him and Jim. Gary pleaded with Naranjo to give him a chance. Brooke and Danni had sympathy for him, but Brandon realized Gary was too big of a threat, and told Gary he had to vote him out. The plan was for Brandon, Jim, Jaime, and Brooke to vote Gary, and Gary, Danni, and Lydia to vote Jim. Jamie realized he was the swing vote. The possibility of eliminating Jim was tempting to him, because he felt he could potentially have the Naranjo idol. At the Yaxhá Tribal Council, Cindy, Margaret, and Rafe were surprised when the original vote tied 3-3-1. However in the re-vote, Blake felt that Cindy and Rafe's reactions would not hold up well, so he went against his own plan. Morgan became the fifth person voted out in a 3-2 vote. At the Naranjo Tribal Council, the plan to split the votes went through, but in a surprise turn of events, Jamie decided to go against it by switching his vote to Jim, who was then blindsided in a 4-3 vote.
EPISODE 6"No Rest For The Weary" - Gary
Returning to camp, Blake revealed that he did not like Cindy and Rafe's reactions to the tied vote, so he switched his vote back to Morgan to send her home. Margaret was questioned as to whom she voted, which made her confused. Rafe felt that there was a possibility that Morgan was the vote for Cindy, and perhaps Blake voted Margaret. The next day at Naranjo, Gary was relieved to live another day. While he believed he was starting to make some headway into the cracks, he knew he was still very vulnerable. Brandon was confused as to why Jamie voted out Jim and felt very nervous about his position in the tribe. He believed Jamie was running the show and it further increased his desire to eliminate him. Meeting up with Brooke, the two agreed to watch eachother's backs for being the only two votes to eliminate Gary. Brooke felt irritated that Jamie went back on the plan, but it allowed her to get potentially closer to Brandon. Her strategy was to try and have people view her as their number one. Back at Yaxhá, Rafe went to Brian and proposed a deal that they keep Blake's idol along with Brian's in the game by creating an alliance and bringing in Bobby Jon. Brian was skeptical, but his desire to eliminate Naranjo trumped all. Margaret was rightfully starting to grow weary of her once strong ally Rafe, who had no qualms about possibly letting her get voted out next should they lose an immunity challenge. She hoped that Gary and her could meet back up together at the merge. At the next immunity challenge the tribes raced to put together a puzzle in a Tetris fashion. Brooke excelled and nearly won the challenge, but Lydia collapsed midway through, out of energy. This granted Yaxhá the narrow path they needed to obtain immunity. After losing, Jeff met with Lydia to assess what was wrong. Lydia appeared physically fit to continue on, but she was emotionally beat mentally. Later that night, the Naranjo tribe faced Tribal Council where Lydia laid down her torch, feeling that she would only be holding her team back. The Naranjo tribe headed back to camp, being down in numbers for the first time in the game.
EPISODE 7"Wakey, Wakey, Hands Off Snakey!" - Margaret
At the Naranjo camp, Brandon's paranoia over his position intensified. He believed that he could be blindsided if his tribe were to attend Tribal Council, because Gary staying at their last Tribal Council was very suspicious. He decided that if they faced a Tribal Council, he would play his idol no what and potentially take out Naranjo's so called leader Jamie. At the Yaxhá camp, Brian was relieved that they finally pulled off an actual win against Naranjo. It increased his beliefs that they stood a chance at the merge as a strong unit. Elsewhere, after a conversation with Rafe, Bobby Jon felt low on the totem pole and wished to flip to Naranjo at the merge. Back at Naranjo, Gary knew this was a pivotal round for his game. Either he could make the merge or potentially leave just short of it.He believed his trump card was that he could reel in former Nakúm members, Rafe and Margaret, and pull them into an alliance with Naranjo folk. Over at Yaxhá, Blake was worried about Margaret's loyalty to the tribe, and shared this with Rafe. Blake's solution to solidify Margaret's loyalty was to go to her and blame the stray vote for Cindy at their last Tribal Council on Rafe. Rafe nodded along, but was not having it. Rafe went to Margaret and spilled Blake's plan. Margaret and Rafe believed they needed to take out Blake soon. At the next immunity challenge, the players had to count many objects and be accurate whilst doing so. By just a point difference, Yaxhá won immunity for the second time in a row. After losing two members in a row, the Naranjo camp was in a panic. Nobody was fully trusting Jamie. Brooke and Danni each approached Brandon individually. Brooke was concerned Jamie, Danni, and Gary had something and Danni was concerned Brooke, Jamie, and Gary had something. Brandon did not know if he could trust either of them and felt he could be being played. Meanwhile Gary was pitching to Jamie that they vote off Brandon. Jamie was confident in his alliance with Brandon, feeling that he was his closest ally, and felt there was no alternative to keep Gary in the game. Gary campaigned to stay to the last minute, trying to get the vote on Brandon. At the same time, Brandon felt that there could be a ruse to get him voted off and that he would play his idol. The question was, would he idol out Jamie or Gary? He felt he could lose his tribe's trust no matter what, but that he wasn't feeling it as it was. At Tribal Council, Brandon shocked everyone when he stood up to play the Naranjo Hidden Immunity Idol. But when the vote was revealed, the original Naranjo's stuck true to one another and Gary was voted out in a 4-0 decision.
EPISODE 8"Famous Last Words" - Rafe
Returning from Tribal Council, Jamie, Brooke, and Danni were all shocked that Brandon played the Hidden Immunity Idol. Each of them were confused as to why he did not trust the tribe or them in particular. Brandon felt he could do some damage control but that if the opportunity for a brighter future presented itself, he'd flip at the merge. The next day,the tribes gathered together and were told to drop their buffs - they became the merged tribe Xhakúm. Instantly, everyone scrambled to maintain a majority. In Brian's mindset, it was the Yaxhá six to the end, and that the game should be as simple as that - to pick off Naranjo. However, Bobby Jon approached the former Naranjo players and revealed he wanted to join forces with them. Margaret, who often seemed on the outskirts of her tribe, also toyed with the idea of flipping, but was much less serious than Bobby Jon. At the first merged immunity challenge, Bobby Jon had the best perception of everyone and guaranteed himself a spot in the final nine. Back at camp, the scrambling commenced. Blake was upset about all the harsh perceptions his fellow tribemates had of him. He was worried he may need to use his idol. The Yaxhá six agreed Jamie was the biggest threat and needed to be voted out next. Jamie, knowing he was on the line, approached Rafe, whom he believed was running the show. Rafe took a liking to Jamie and told him he would try and get the vote off him and onto Brandon, but he couldn't make any promises. He also told him that Naranjo should vote for Blake to flush his idol. Not liking what he heard from Rafe, Jamie went back to Bobby Jon who revealed he would be willing to take out Rafe tonight. Jamie got the rest of Naranjo on board, but Brooke was worried about Bobby Jon taking control of the game. Rafe tried to turn the vote on Brandon, but Margaret disagreed because she had promised him she wouldn't. Rafe was under the impression Naranjo would be voting for Blake, but Cindy did not see why they would vote for someone who was known to have an idol. Margaret then told Cindy she was tempted to take out long time rival Blake. Rafe was having second thoughts about his alliance with Margaret and almost rather join up with Jamie. He then went to Jamie and agreed to him that he would vote for Margaret. The camp was in chaos heading to Tribal Council, with Blake, Jamie, Margaret, and Rafe's names on the chopping block. At Tribal Council, in one of the biggest blindsides of the season, Rafe was voted out in a 4-3-2-1 vote.
EPISODE 9"Please Don't Play Your Idol!" - Jamie
Returning from Tribal Council, the Xhakúm tribe was in a state of disbelief. Nobody was quite sure how that vote would turn out. Jamie was thrilled to have survived and seemingly gained the upper-hand. Brooke on the other hand believed this cemented that one of the four Naranjo would be ganged up upon at the next vote by the five others. Brandon continued to toy with the idea of finding greener grasses by trying to latch onto a new alliance. The next day, Brian, Blake, and Cindy felt it was imperative that they stick together, but were worried that Bobby Jon or Margaret would be convinced to flip. Brian was actively campaigning to the rest that they stick together and that the rest of the game should be straight forward. They agreed that Jamie was the biggest threat and they could not risk him getting deeper into the game. At the next immunity challenge, it came down to Jamie and Bobby Jon, with Jamie winning immunity and saving himself from possible elimination. Back at camp, Brian was annoyed that Jamie survived yet another round. The next target on the Naranjo hit-list was Danni. But in order to convince Bobby Jon to vote with them, they all agreed to vote out Brooke since it was more comfortable for Bobby Jon. Bobby Jon knew that Brian and Blake posed huge threats to him, and that he would likely leave at final five, so felt now was the time to strike by flipping to the Naranjo four and getting rid of an idol. Because Blake was a paranoid player, Bobby Jon felt he would be more likely to play his idol and that he and the former Naranjo blindside Brian. Brooke, however, did not trust Bobby Jon to vote with her group. She approached Brian and tried to work his paranoia, confessing that she knew him and his alliance were targeting her. Meanwhile, Brandon was also not confident that Bobby Jon was voting with his group, so he approached Blake for an alliance, and could do so by voting out Brooke at Tribal Council, leaving Brandon to weigh the pros and cons to flipping. Before they headed to the vote, Blake passed Brian his idol for safe-keeping, in case he got blindsided. At Tribal Council, Brandon flipped on his former tribe, and Brian played his idol to be safe, resulting in Brooke becoming the second member of the Jury by a 5-0 decision.
EPISODE 10"I Feel Like A King" - Margaret
With Brooke out of the game, Danni and Jamie felt they were next on the chopping block. Bobby Jon was shocked that someone had flipped, but his plan was to pretend he voted out Brooke. They were able to deduce it was Brandon who turned on Naranjo after talking to Bobby Jon. Brian met up with Blake and returned his idol to him. At the same time, Brian was confused to who voted him out. Blake felt that Brandon voted with them, as he promised to draw a star on his parchment, which was read in the votes. Bobby Jon was pretending he voted with Yaxhá, and while Brian and Blake played along, they pegged him as the next to go. The next day, Brandon approached Danni and Jamie and tried to smooth things over. He made some ground with Danni, but Jamie was pissed. Blake was starting to think about taking Cindy and long time enemy Margaret to the final three, to give himself the best shot at winning. Meanwhile, Danni hoped to bring the same two women to the end to give her the best shot as well. Bobby Jon revealed to Brian that if he won immunity, he might consider giving it to Jamie so that the alliance would vote out Brandon instead. Brian told this to Blake and Cindy, and they all hoped he did so and then blindside him in the process. At the next immunity challenge, it came down to Bobby Jon and Cindy, with Bobby Jon earning his second win. Back at camp, there was speculation on what Bobby Jon would do with his immunity. Bobby Jon pitched to vote out Brandon, but it fell on deaf ears. Blake, Brian, and Cindy felt that Jamie was too much of a threat and had to go next. Jamie tried desperately to exploit any crack he could. He tried to make waves by targeting Margaret to Blake, to targeting Blake to Margaret. Hope came in the most surprising and unexpected way for Jamie when Cindy spoke to him about blindsiding Blake. Bobby Jon, Cindy, Margaret, and Danni agreed to join up to blindside Blake and his idol. Margaret, however, had second thoughts of leaving a big threat like Jamie in the game. Ideally, she could send Jamie to the Jury while having Blake play his idol in the process. Her plan was to tell Blake to play the idol but vote out Jamie. Danni, Bobby Jon, and Cindy were all set for the blindside of Blake, and they had to wait and see what Margaret wanted to do. At Tribal Council, Bobby Jon kept immunity to himself. Just before the votes were read, Blake stood up to play his idol. In the end, the plan to blindside Blake did not come to fruition and the tribe voted out Jamie 7-0, who then called out Cindy on his way out.
EPISODE 11"What A Loser" - Brandon
Back at camp, Margaret was thrilled that Blake played his idol. The Hidden Immunity Idols were out of the game for good, and he would have no protection at the next Tribal Council. Danni was happy that Jamie left as he was a big threat to her game, and was hoping to finally vote out Blake next as well. Meanwhile, Cindy was reeling from having been called out by Jamie at Tribal Council. She was concerned it would effect her position in the tribe, if she was caught playing both sides. The next day, Cindy spoke to both Blake and Brian and did the necessary damage control to make it appear as though she was only entertaining Jamie. Blake felt his best strategy was to not act out in anger like he normally would have in the past, for the better of his survival. Brian was set on targeting Bobby Jon next provided he lost immunity. At the next immunity challenge, it was a close race that relied on memory and in the end result, Brandon won the challenge guaranteeing himself a spot in the final 6. Returning to camp, Danni was worried she would receive votes for being the only vulnerable Naranjo. However, Brian, Brandon, and Blake's plan was to oust Bobby Jon. Brandon felt Bobby Jon was cocky and that he was the biggest threat, followed by Danni. Bobby Jon was a bit concerned considering he felt people saw him as a challenge threat, but he had high hopes that his recent alliance with Danni, Cindy, and Margaret would work out in blindsiding Blake. Danni tried the guilt tactic with Cindy that Blake needed to go and that she owed her for voting out Jamie. Next, Cindy and Margaret agreed that Blake had to go, but when approached by Brandon he tried to convince them that Bobby Jon was the biggest threat. They all agreed that they needed to split up the duos of Bobby Jon & Danni and Brian & Blake. After that, they agreed on a final three. Cindy felt that Brandon may win in that scenario, but that was her plan for the time being. They had to decide whether to vote out Bobby Jon or blindside Blake. At Tribal Council, Blake once again narrowly escaped elimination when Cindy and Margaret went back on their word and voted out Bobby Jon in a 4-2-1 decision.
EPISODE 12"Stonewalled" - Danni
With Bobby Jon out of the game, Danni was blindsided and unsure of her standing moving forward. Cindy felt bad about misleading Danni, but assured her Blake would go next. Margaret believed this was finally the round that Blake had to go. Meanwhile, Brian was nervous about each and every round in which Danni stayed longer. He felt she had the Jury's vote on lock and would hands down win in the finals, so he would surely be pushing for her boot next. The next day, Blake and Brian were confident that their alliance of five would hold strong and boot Danni next. Blake was starting to ponder whether he should give Brian a chance at surviving the final four, or if he should vote him out along with Cindy and Margaret. Both agreed they had to ensure Danni did not win the next challenge. At the next immunity challenge, sure enough, Danni obtained the necklace and guaranteed herself a spot in the final five. Back at camp, Brian was upset that Danni could potentially win her way to the end and then take the game. Brandon was a bit concerned he could be in trouble, as he figured that now Brian and Blake's target would turn onto him with Danni immune. Blake, knowing he was Danni's target, approached her to make a deal to target Brian, feeling safe regardless. Tempted by the offer, Danni asked what that meant for her survival next week in return. Blake did not commit to any sort of deal, which left her clearly not having any of it. Cindy, once again, feeling like Blake was too big of a threat and that she could not go to the finals with him and Brian, was set to vote him off. Margaret was once again the deciding factor, knowing that whichever way she went, that either Brandon or Blake would have their torch snuffed. At Tribal Council, the duo of Blake and Brian were both blindsided when Blake was sent to the Jury by a vote of 4-2.
EPISODE 13"Thank You Survivor Gods" - Brian
Down to the final five. Brandon Bellinger, who found the Naranjo hidden immunity idol, flipped on his tribe at the merge in search of greener grasses, and made it much farther than he ever anticipated. Brian Corridan, the only survivor remaining of the original and weak Yaxhá tribe, who also found its idol. He coasted to the end by maintaining a majority through each tribal shuffle. Cindy Hall, a quiet girl whom everyone wants to bring to the end, but trusting her has proven to be a fatal mistake for few. Danni Boatwright, a large threat to sweep the Jury based on likeability, but her roads proven tough as she has been in the minority since the merge began. Finally, Margaret Bobonich, a highly underestimated older woman whose been the main factor in many Juror's eliminations.
Returning from Tribal Council, Brian was surprised that his number one ally Blake was blindsided. He immediately sought out Cindy to get to the bottom of it. Venting his frustrations to her, Brian tried to regain focus and realized he would need Cindy if he wanted to make the end of the game. Cindy revealed to Brian that she felt she stood no chance to win if she stuck to the final three of them and Blake, as Blake was a big Jury threat. Brian believed that they needed to take out Danni pronto. The next day, Margaret and Cindy hashed out who they wanted to sit at the end against, Brandon or Brian. Cindy was thinking that Brian was a big threat whereas Margaret started to worry about Brandon. Danni was excited and nervous for the next immunity challenge, feeling it may be do or die. However, so long as Brian did not win, she felt she had a case to make against him. Brandon on the same wavelength as Brian in that Danni needed to lose or they all would. At the next immunity challenge, it came down to both Brandon and Brian, and by mere seconds, Brandon won his second individual immunity. Back at camp, Margaret's cocnern regarding Brandon at the Final Tribal Council increased, and felt she rather take Brian to the end. For the upcoming vote, Brandon and Brian without a doubt were casting their votes towards Danni. The decision came down to Margaret and Cindy, on whether or not to keep Danni around or vote out Brian. Danni's argument for Brian leaving over her was the fact he has an underdog story coming from a decimated tribe, and the fact he is more likely to win the final challenge then her. At Tribal Council, Margaret and Cindy broke their all girls deal with Danni and sent her to the Jury by a vote of 4-1.
Back at camp, Brandon was enthusiastic that Danni would not be taking the game from them all. Brian and Brandon both felt that so long as the other guy did not win immunity, they would be sent home, go to the end and win the game. Margaret was set on targeting and blindsiding Brandon provided he lost the final challenge. Cindy was still flip flopping on the best person to take to the end. At the final immunity challenge, it was a battle of endurance. Margaret dropped first, followed by Brandon. It came down to Cindy and Brian with Brian securing immunity and guaranteeing himself a spot in the final 3. Back at camp, Brian felt like he held a lot of power. He was debating doing the noble thing in his mind and voting our Margaret. He revealed this to Brandon, who was suddenly optimistic after such grim feelings regarding Tribal Council. Brandon's case to the tribe was that he burned a lot of Jurors by flipping, so that they would likely not cast their votes for him at the end. Margaret and Brandon were each locking in their votes for the other. Cindy felt bad about having to vote Brandon and struggled with the decision, knowing that she had a better shot in the finals against Margaret. The possibility of tieing the vote was an option for both Cindy and Brian. At Tribal Council, Margaret, Cindy, and Brian came together to vote out the final Naranjo member in Brandon by a vote of 3-1.
Lasting 39 days without their torches being snuffed, the final three celebrated their accomplishment. Brian felt his game was the best of the bunch and that it was his game to lose. Cindy felt that she voted out all the threats that could beat her in the game, leaving the two who would give her the best shot. Margaret felt she was the decision maker of her alliance and thus should earn the Jury's respect to become the Sole Survivor.
At the Final Tribal Council, the Jury was beyond displeased at the three finalists, taking constant jabs at them and their lack of gameplay. The consensus was it was the least ideal final three of the merged tribe, and that they would be voting for the lesser of three evils. Rafe felt he needed to learn more about Cindy and Brian's games, but was shocked that Margaret made it as far as she did. Brooke wished to know the finalist's influence on Brandon, as she believed the round she left was the pivotal one of the game. Jamie was disgusted at having to vote for one of the three and asked them to reveal why they should not win. Bobby Jon was dead set against Brian, stating that having played all game alongside him, there was nothing to make a fuss about. Blake lashed out at both Margaret and Cindy for having betrayed him, and was lobbying hard for the Jury to not reward Margaret. Danni believed that each finalist had a decent aspect to their game, but that overall it was a disappointing decision. Lastly, Brandon felt that he was the closest to the three of them and that they earned their spots.
The Jury did not believe that Margaret provided enough evidence to being in control of player's fates, and she appeared delusional, ending up with her having no Jurors in her corner. Brian took a beating for his social game, with Jurors stating that he put up a wall and came off condescending whilst talking with them in the rounds they left. However, some of them admired his two challenge wins and idol finding capability. Cindy was criticized for being too under the radar but was commended for her decision making. As a result, the Jury decided that Cindy was the lesser of three evils and awarded her the title and Sole Survivor of Guatemala by a vote of 4-3-0 against Brian, with Margaret receiving no votes.
